Founded to meet the growing demand for professional private investigators in Texas. Our school prioritizes hands-on training and ethical standards. We aim to prepare students comprehensively for the challenges of investigative work through skilled instruction and practical experience.

School Disclosure
New Investigator course is 120 hours which consists of 90 classroom hours and 30 field hours. Students not only learn everything about private investigations in a classroom but they will also get training out in the field for a full learning experience. Students will learn how to follow individuals and perform surveillance without being detected. They will also learn how to prepare their digital evidence, complete investigative reports and prepare for court testimony. Since private investigators provide legal services, private investigators are subject to testify in court.

After students successfully complete the course, they will automatically be forwarded to our statewide investigations company Metropolitan Private Investigations (TX DPS Lic # A30829901) for all employment opportunities. Since the state can take up to two months to issue a license, student will enter an internship program awaiting for their state license. Once the student officially becomes licensed by DPS as a Private Investigator, he or she will be offered:
- seasonal
- part-time
- full-time
Pay varies for new investigators. Pay can range anywhere between $20-$30/hr... sometimes even more depending on the type of investigative case.
Tuition for this specialized training is $1,500 on a payment plan. Students MUST register with $500.
State fees are not included with tuition. State licensing fees are about $75. Fees differ if you are active or former law enforcement or active military and for veterans.
Classes currently offered in three schedules A, B and C:
Class A: Days Mon-Fri (9-4pm) Currently Unavailable
Class B: Evenings Mon-Fri (6-10pm)
Class C: Weekends Sat & Sun (8-5pm)
For students located outside of the San Antonio or Bexar County, tuition is $1,100. Classroom hours can be done online but there will be one weekend (Sat & Sun) he or she must attend class in person to complete the field training exercises. This is a MUST!
